The Ole Miss game in a nutshell
Vanderbilt beat Ole Miss 65-53 on Saturday, advancing to the Southeastern Conference title game for the first time in 61 years. VandySports.com's Chris Lee has all the key details on how the Commodores got there.
Early in the second half, it remained a back-and-forth game, with VU trailing by a point when John Jenkins went to the foul line for three shots with 14:12 left. Jenkins drained the first two shots, then missed the third, but Lance Goulbourne was there for the offensive rebound and the stick-back to put Vandy up, 35-32.
LaDarius White answered on the other end with a lay-up, but Dai-Jon Parker countered with a 3-pointer on Vandy's next trip.
