Selman, VerHagen and Gomez drafted

VandySports.com As has become the program's routine, three of Vanderbilt's underclass student athletes have been selected in the Major League baseball amateur draft. Sam Selman, Drew VerHagen and Anthony Gomez -- all third year college players -- were selected by MLB franchises.
Selmam was picked by the Kansas City Royals with the 66th overall pick and sixth pick of the second round. The left-handed pitcher from Austin, Texas was a seldom-used reserve his first two seasons, but moved into a weekend starter role in 2012.
@vuhawktalk, a website and Twitter feed that covers Vanderbilt baseball, believes Selman is likely gone.
