One year after James Franklin's debut season at Vanderbilt, some things have changed while others have remained the same.

As Commodores prepare to start their season on Thursday with a nationally-televised date with South Carolina this week, the 'Dores talk mostly the same as they did last year at Monday's press conferences. The recurring themes: they don't look past the opponent immediately in front of him, and they don't concern themselves so much with who they play as much as how they play.
