VandySports.com Vanderbilt and Ole Miss renew their annual football rivalry on Saturday. Here are five big things to watch that may well determine the outcome.
1. Pressure Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace and force a mistake. Here's one of the strangest stats in the Southeastern Conference this year: Vanderbilt is third nationally in pass defense, yet it ranks 13th in the league with four interceptions. Obviously, a lot of that is due to Casey Hayward being gone, but this with the guys in the secondary plus Archie Barnes at linebacker, the team should have more picks than this. Wallace is tied with Tennesee's Tyler Bray for a league-high 10 picks, but Bray has thrown 104 more passes, so something has to give here.
