The Xavier game, in a nutshell

VandySports.com Vandy scored a big road upset, downing Xavier by a 66-64 score on Thursday night. VandySports.com's Chris Lee has the key details from VU's big win.
Turning point: Xavier's Travis Taylor was a one-man wrecking crew to start the second half, hitting three lay-ups and a foul shot in about a minute-and-a-half to put the Musketeers up, 40-27, with 17:11 to play. Vandy took a time-out, and everything changed from there.
It started about a minute and a half later, when Kedren Johnson hit a 3-pointer. Xavier answered with an old-fashioned three-point play of its own, but Johnson and Kyle Fuller kept hitting shots as Vandy inched closer, and a pair of Fuller free throws with 8:41 left tied the game.
