The Arkansas game, in a nutshell

Vanderbilt dropped a 56-33 game in Fayetteville on Saturday night. Here are the key details.

Turning point:
Despite 11 first-half points, VU's half-court defense kept it in the game since Arkansas had only 21. A Kevin Bright lay-up just 24 seconds into the first half pulled VU within eight, and had you thinking that, just maybe, it could survive that one bad half…

But that didn't last long. Arkansas' B.J. Young out-scored VU personally, 10-4, over the next few minutes to push the Razorbacks up, 33-17, with 15:26 left. The Razorbacks then scored the game's next 10 points, and it was obviously over from there.
