Balanced offense leads women past Arkansas

First-half summary
Both teams came out playing aggressive defense. The Razorbacks played a very aggressive man-to-man defense that gave the Commodores some trouble early on. However, the Commodores returned the favor by switching in between a trapping man-to-man defense and a trapping zone that forced some Arkansas turnovers.

As the half continued, the Commodores started to get their offense clicking and managed to put together some good half and full court sets. Unfortunately, so did the Razorbacks. Arkansas managed to find some weak spots in the Commodore defense, and scored points because of it. The Commodores struggled on keeping the Razorbacks of the boards in the first half, which allowed the Arkansas to stay in the game. Another problem was that Vanderbilt also had some slow shifting on defense as well.
