Pomeroy prediction: Tennessee 60, Vanderbilt 53 (VU has a 20 percent shot at a win)

Sagarin prediction: Tennessee by 9

Vegas line: Tennessee by 8.5, over-under of 118.5


Chris: Given both teams' grind-it-out styles, this game should be one that (excepting VU and UT fans) only the most die-hard hoops fans enjoy watching. The Vols can't shoot from outside, Vandy can't score inside, and both teams will strategize accordingly, making for a low-possession game that will certainly feature some ugly spurts without much offense.
