The Kentucky game, in a nutshell

VandySports.com Vanderbilt gave it a run, but fell by a 74-70 score in Lexington on Wednesday evening. Here are all the key details on the game.
Turning point: VU was down double-digits in the first half, and again in the second half, but just kept pounding away. A Josh Henderson lay-up with 3:53 left cut the UK lead to two, and although the Wildcats went back up by six, a Kyle Fuller 3 with 1:10 remaining put VU in striking position again.
But with 57 seconds left, Archie Goodwin hit a pair of foul shots to put the Wildcats up, 70-65. The Commodores had a chance to get closer, but Willie Cauley-Stein blocked Kyle Fuller's lay-up with 34 seconds left.
A Julius Mays free throw on the other end put UK up by a 71-65 count. VU's hopes at that point were slim, and when Cauley-Stein blocked Kedren Johnson's shot with 25 seconds left, Johnson rebounded and was fouled by Harrow before hitting a pair of free throws.
