About the Red Wolves: In spite of last year's 34-23 overall mark and 19-9 record in the Sun Belt, the Red Wolves were picked fifth in the league's preseason poll. After ASU's hot start in which its offense is scoring eight runs a game while giving up just three, perhaps the voters would like to have a do-over, although sweeping Bradley (picked sixth in the Missouri Valley) and taking a series from Western Illinois (picked fourth of six teams in the Summit League) is no huge feat.
