Martin enjoys unofficial visit to Iowa

HawkeyeReport.com Four-star running back Dale Martin made an unofficial visit to Iowa City yesterday to watch the Hawkeyes' game against No. 1 Ohio State. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Martin, who hails from Bolingbrook, Illinois, said he enjoyed the atmosphere at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday night.
The visit was the second time Martin has watched the Hawkeyes play in person, as he visited Kinnick Stadium as junior last year as well. The running back, who has held an Iowa scholarship offer since February, also had a chance to talk with the Hawkeye coaching staff on Saturday.
While in Iowa City this weekend, Martin had the chance to talk with Iowa commits Bryan Bulaga and Colin Sandeman, along with fellow Illinois native Josh Brent, who like Martin remains undecided. The four-star running back said he enjoyed the game Saturday night despite Iowa's 38-17 loss to Ohio State.
On the recruiting front, Martin continues to have four schools at the top of his list, as he has mainly focused on his senior season since it began six weeks ago. At the top of his list is still Tennessee, Iowa, Wisconsin, and NC State.
Martin, who has rushed for over 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns through six games, plans to make his official visits after the season.
