Analysis and Prediction The Crimson Tide continue to play better as each game goes by. The biggest part of the improve play is Alonzo Gee. In the the last two games Gee is averaging 24 points per game. Against the Razorbacks Gee knocked down his first five shots, which were all three pointers. He is the key to the Crimson Tide offense and recent success.
Junior gurad David Huertas and freshman guard Terrico White are the key to the Rebels offense. Huertas leads the team in scoring with 18.7 ppg and White is second on the team with 12.4 ppg. In the last nine games White has averaged 19.8 ppg. Slowing down these two will be the key to the Tide's success. Sophmore guard Senario Hillman will be counted on to slow down one of these scorers. Hillman held Arkansas' Rotnei Clarks to just 16 points in the Tide's win on Wednesday. Clarks had 26 against the Tide in the first meeting.
The Tide has not won in Oxford since the 2006 season, and currently have a 18 game losing streak in SEC road games. All that will come to an end on Saturday. Gee will continue to carry the Tide and bench play will help the Tide get the win. Prediction: Alabama 75, Ole Miss 74.
