The Austin Peay win, in a nutshell

Key moment After Travis Betran's miracle 3 banked in with about 10 seconds left, Austin Peay had a shot to win the game once Kyle Fuller hit one of two foul shots and Vandy led by just two. Betran got the ball on the left side, drove and took a bad shot, but APSU's Chris Horton grabbed a rebound in traffic. That, too, missed, and when Vandy's Damian Jones secured the last board and held on for dear life, the horn sounded and the game was up.
"Most games are won on a tip-in, so I had to make sure I got the rebound," Jones said.
What went right It was a solid night defensively for the Commodores, which coach Kevin Stallings mentioned in the post-game press conference. The biggest evidence on the stat sheet was the nine blocks on the evening, three coming from Jones. VU also won the rebounding battle by a 43-38 count and held the Governors to 34.3 percent from the field.
