December 17, 2012NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Vanderbilt's Kyle Fuller led four Commodores in double figures, as VU jumped out to an early 19-point lead, nearly blew it, and finally beat Cornell by a 66-55 score in Memorial Gymnasium on Monday evening.
A sparse crowd watched Fuller connect for 17 points, as Kedren Johnson (15), Rod Odom (13) and Josh Henderson also pitched in to help VU improve to 5-4.
Johnson had 12 of his points in the first half, but was limited to just 18 points as he was in foul trouble most of the evening.
VU was 10-of-20 behind the 3-point arc, with Odom and Johnson each connecting on three.
It's the first time Vandy's been over .500 this year.
