OL Fischer on tap for official visit at Vanderbilt

Last February, the Vanderbilt football program signed what was then thought of as one of the best rated signing classes in a decade. Overall, the Commodore coaches signed 26 prospects and a third of those were rated as three-star prospects according to Rivals.com. Now, the Vanderbilt coaches look poised to possibly land an even higher ranked class in 2007 and this weekend looks to be one of those key weekends in doing just that as the Commodore coaches host their first set of official visitors to the Nashville campus.

The Vanderbilt Commodores currently have 11 known verbal commitments for the 2007 recruiting class. With the month of December comes official visits and a while a few prospects have already set dates with the Nashville school, a couple more prospects have said they will take an official in the coming months.
