Mike, they are not trying to turn Vandy+ Catholic gay. Furthermore, seeking equal rights for all Americans should be everyone's agenda, whether it be on the local or national level. Scare tactics like formulating some mythic plot to turn your kids gay is just ridiculous.
Further note that gay rights are human rights and everyone should support them. That's very much the same as the fact that freedom of religion also protects those who choose no religion and, therefore, should be supported by all regardless of their particular beliefs.
