I find it truly laughable that people feel that there is a war on Christianity. It is utterly ABSURD. I wonder how they would feel growing up in the South as a non-Christian, being told many times over that they would rot in eternal hell because of not believing what the majority believes. Not to mention the continual discrimination, exclusion, and condescension, some people deal with on a regular basis.
Poor Christians having to face this "war" against them. Cry me a river.

Casheville as a Christian I can't remove the hurt and anger you feel towards those Christians who acted contrary to the person they are supposed to pattern their lives after. I can, however, apologize at least on my own behalf for what I'm sure we're very real wrongs done to you. Whether you can ever forgive is your prerogative but at least know, if Jesus is real, and obviously I believe He is, he would ask forgiveness for those wrongs done to you in His name.
I appreciate your words vadore, and it really does not bother me anymore. If all Christians thought and acted as you did (as it teaches in the bible), the world would be a better place.
I hope you continue to try the understand the opposite perspective in this situation at VU, and no matter what the outcome, continue to contribute to the Vanderbilt community.
FWIW, being a non-Muslim from a predominantly Muslim family has the same challenges as well. Maybe worse.
