New Jersey receiver updates status

Ricky Jeune picked up an offer from Boston College a while back and the Eagles have continued to maintain contact and let him know that they are interested.

Jeune hasn't received any other offers since that first verbal offer from the Eagles but he has been in a little contact with other schools.

"I've gotten a couple of handwritten letters from North Carolina and Penn State," Jeune explained.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound receiver from Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph's hauled in 41 receptions for 805 yards and 12 scores as a big-play threat last fall.

He hasn't visited any schools yet but is hoping to hit the road if circumstances allow.

"I'll definitely be visiting at least a couple of schools in the spring, I just don't know where yet," Jeune said.

Boston College may be one of the schools he visits but even that's up in the air. While BC has offered the Eagles remain largely an unknown as far as Jeune is concerned.

"I really don't know a whole lot about them," he said. "I'll just have to see if I can get up there.

"I have met the head coach and he just told me to keep doing what I'm doing and hopefully I can come visit them one day."
