Seniors lead Vandy to upset of Missouri

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Vanderbilt's already-thin roster fought through foul troubles as the Commodores (9-6) used a dozen 3-pointers to pull a 78-75 upset of Missouri on Thursday night.

Seniors Rod Odom (24 points) and Kyle Fuller (22) led the way for Vandy, which turned the ball over just nine times.

The Commodores (9-6, 1-2 Southeastern Conference) led 39-32 at the half, but Missouri hung tight, cutting the lead to 60-57 on Jabari Brown's jumper with 4:17 to play.

But Fuller, making one of many huge plays on the night, answered with a 3 coming off Shelby Moats' offensive rebound.

Missouri got no closer than four again. Perhaps the final dagger was when Fuller hit a straight-away jumper with 1:04 left to push the lead to seven.

Odom, Fuller and Dai-Jon Parker played every minute.

Missouri was led by Brown (22 points) and Jordan Clarkson (18).

Stay tuned for more post-game coverage.
