3-star SG commits to Vandy
Vanderbilt added their second verbal commitment to the 2017 hoops class on Sunday when Bellaire (Tex.) shooting guard Maxwell Evans announced his decision on Twitter.
The 3-star rated prospect was offered by the Commodores on July 18th after the coaching staff evaluated him on multiple occasions last month. Evans also received July offers from Purdue, Wyoming, and Northwestern.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound prospect also had offers from VCU, Wake Forest, Houston, Kansas State, San Diego State, and others.
Evans joins Corona del Sol (Ariz.) point guard Saben Lee that are currently committed in Vanderbilt's 2017 class.
