Vanderbilt continues their recruiting roll in the month of June. The Commodores have landed their latest commitment from Cardinal Gibbons (Fla.) safety Maxwell Worship.

The 3-star rated prospect burst on Vanderbilt's radar last year after a standout performance at their Friday Night Lights camp. Worship received an offer from the Commodores back in February.

He visited West End for a second time back in March for the Commodores' Spring Showcase, where he told us that "Vandy is definitely leading right now" in an interview after his trip.

That theme stayed true throughout his recruiting process as he talked to other outlets throughout the Rivals.com network.

Worship is the 13th overall commitment for Vanderbilt in the 2018 class and chose the Commodores over an offer list that included Kentucky, North Carolina, NC State, Iowa, Syracuse, and others.

The Florida prospect is also familiar with a couple of Commodore freshman in Randall Haynie and James Bostic, who were former high school teammates at Cardinal Gibbons (Fla.).
