A day after one Brentwood Academy star committed to Vanderbilt, another one joined him.

On Friday afternoon, about 24 hours after tight end Gavin Schoenwald committed to Vanderbilt, wide receiver Camron Johnson also pledged to VU.

Johnson confirmed his commitment to VandySports on Friday while on campus. He said he'll be shutting down his recruitment from here.

Johnson, a four-star wide receiver, chose the Commodores over offers from Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss and Tennessee, among others.

He's the second wide receiver commit in the class, joining three-star Miles Jones (Plantation, Fla.), the eighth commitment of the class, and the fourth this week.

VandySports will interview him later on Friday to get more on his commitment.
