The three-star rated prospect becomes the 11th verbal commitment for the Commodores. The one-time Mississippi State commit chose Vanderbilt over a final list that included the Bulldogs and Missouri.
He joins St. Thomas Aquinas cornerback Frank Coppet and Jenks (Okla.) safety Austin Quillen as secondary commitments for Vanderbilt.
He is ranked as the 15th best prospect in the state of Mississippi and ranks as the 35th best safety prospect in the nation according to Rivals.com.
