Late-game run pushes Vandy by LSU

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Vanderbilt used a 15-4 run in the final 4:57 to open up a close game, knocking off LSU in Memorial Gymnasium 76-61 on Wednesday night.
Festus Ezeli scored 21 points, John Jenkins added 20, and Jeffery Taylor, 19, for the Commodores, who improved to 17-7.

Two Jenkins free throws, an Ezeli dunk, and a Jenkins 3 in a 51-second span started the run, and put the game away.
The score was tied 27-all at half, with VU shooting just 39 percent from the field. Ezeli's 10 points led the way.
Vandy shot 50 percent for the game from the field, and held LSU to 37 percent.
