The much anticipated visit from the Arbor View (Nev.) defensive end target will finally happen this weekend. Wade has already taken official visits to UCLA, Cal, and Nebraska.

It's now Vanderbilt's turn to make an impression.

"Vanderbilt is a great school and from my conversations with Coach (C.J.) Ah You and (Derek) Mason I know what they stand for and what they expect out of their players."

I asked the 4-star prospect what he's hoping to accomplish during his visit this weekend.

"The academic support they offer and just getting a better feel for the program as a whole."

If Wade chose the Commodores, he would fill a huge need along the defensive front.

After a fantastic performance at Vanderbilt's Friday Night Lights camp over the summer, Jones committed to the Louisville Cardinals shortly after.

Fast forward to earlier this week when the Commodores went three-deep with Cortez Hankton, Marc Mattioli, and head coach Derek Mason visiting the the 4-star prospect at his school.

Now, Jones will make his return to West End and all eyes will be on if he ends up flipping his commitment to the Commodores.

ANOTHER OFFENSIVE WEAPON

When we talked to the 3-star wide receiver a couple of weeks ago, he didn't hide how much he liked the Commodores.

"I'm loving Vanderbilt right now," Bolar noted. "I talk to the coaches all the time. Everyday pretty much. Coach (Cortez) Hankton, I talk to him pretty much everyday. He is real. He's going to be straight up with you all the time. I can talk to him about anything in life whether it's football or outside of football in general."

Wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton and offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig have both visited the Purvis (Miss.) talent in the past two weeks and things are trending in Vanderbilt's direction as Bolar sets foot on campus this weekend.

NEW JERSEY REPRESENTING

After injuries set McCallister back during his junior year, he returned and starred at defensive end for his senior season and in the process earned an offer from the Commodores late in the season.

There is a lot of intrigue in Vanderbilt from the 3-star prospect, who the coaching staff likes as an outside linebacker.

"I really just want to get a good connection with the coaching staff, which I have already. See the style of how they do things - how they practice, how they play, the culture they have around the program."

While the New Jersey product told VandySports.com that he doesn't plan to make a commitment until February, but as the world of recruiting goes, things can always change.
