VandySports.com announces post-game football call-in show -- and more!

VandySports.com is thrilled to announce two new radio programs, starting late this summer, unlike any Vanderbilt has ever had.

The first, VandySports.com Radio, sponsored by Currey Ingram Academy, will air each Saturday from 9 to 10 on 95.9 FM, the new FM station for Vanderbilt sports. I will host the show, and my co-publishers Jesse Johnson and Mike Rapp will also be regularly featured.

The show will be somewhat different from the one I have done for the last 10 months. While we will continue to run interviews with VU coaches and players both past and present, the show's focus will shift more towards current events. For the first time, we will also take calls from Commodore fans and also focus more on recruiting.

The launch date is scheduled for Saturday, July 20.

We will also, to our knowledge, host the first post-game call-in show for Vanderbilt football in program history. The VandySports.com Call-In Show will begin immediately after the regular post-game broadcast concludes.

"We are thrilled to add Chris Lee to our broadcast team!  It's a natural with our new, expanded coverage of Vanderbilt sports, adding football and men's basketball to our women's basketball and baseball line up," WNSR's Thom Abraham said. "We are also a Yahoo Sports affiliate, so Chris' Rivals tie-in will only enhance the brand!"

More details will follow in the weeks to come as we move closer to launch dates for the respective shows, including another major announcement next week.
