Vanderbilt landed their third in-state commitment on Sunday when Whitehaven (Tenn.) cornerback RayShad Williams announced his decision on Twitter.
The 3-star prospect returned to Vanderbilt's campus this past Friday where he was one of the standout performers on defense in the Commodores' high-profile Friday Night Lights camp.
Vanderbilt extended an offer to the 6-foot-4, 190-pound talent back in February, he then made a trip to West End in March for one of the Commodores' junior days.
The Memphis area product becomes the 12th overall commitment for Vanderbilt and chose the Commodores over an offer list that included Arkansas, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Memphis, Indiana, and others.
