With an announcement on Twitter, Woodbury (Minn.) athlete Nico Bolden became the latest prospect to join Vanderbilt's 2017 class.

The 6-foot-4, 195-pounder took his official visit to West End over the weekend and chose the Commodores over an offer list that included Washington State, Syracuse, Wyoming, and others.

Vanderbilt extended an offer to the three-star talent in late July, seeing his athleticism and length filling a big need as a hybrid, STAR linebacker in their defensive scheme.

Bolden becomes the 13th overall commitment in the Commodores' 2017 class and joins Colin Anderson and Dimitri Moore as current linebacker pledges.
