Goulbourne leads Vandy past ASU

NASHVILLE, Tenn.-Vanderbilt had a tough time shaking Donald Sims and his Appalachain State teammates, but Lance Goulbourne made huge baskets down the stretch in helping the Commodores to an 86-73 victory at Memorial Gym on Saturday afternoon.
VU led just 73-69 with 4:45 to play after Omar Carter's four-point play, but Goulbourne answered with a dunk on the next Vanderbilt possession to start an 11-0 run for the Commodores over the next three minutes.
