Among the signees was a highly regarded pitcher from California, Mark Prior. Other headliners of the class such as Sheldon Fulse and Nick Priest would never make it to Vanderbilt, but several other members of the class, including Karl Nonemaker, Sean Luellwitz, Chris Maultsby and Jeff Little would make contributions to the Commodore program. Prior spent one year in Nashville.
