Tinsley makes history, VU blows out Presbyterian on opening night

NASHVILLE, Tenn.-Vanderbilt's Brad Tinsley recorded the first triple-double in school history, as the Commodores routed Presbyterian, 88-47, at Memorial Gymnasium on Friday night in the season opener for both clubs.
Tinsley had 11 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds, and the Commodores had three other players--(Jeffery Taylor (27 points), Festus Ezeli (14) and John Jenkins (10)--who scored in double-figures.

VU jumped on the Blue Hose early, spurting out to a 24-11 lead after hitting their first seven shots and 10 of their first 11.
By half, VU built a 42-22 lead, with Taylor's 16 on eight shots leading the way. The Commodores shot 66.7 percent (18-for 27) before the break, and out-rebounded the visitors, 18-10.
VU poured it on in the second half, scoring the first 10 points and never looking back.
