NASHVILLE, Tenn.-Vanderbilt's Brad Tinsley converted a game-winning three-point play with 17 seconds left, and John Jenkins hit a pair of free throws with 5.1 seconds remaining, as the Commodores came from one down in the final minute to beat Alabama 81-77 at Memorial Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.

With VU trailing by one after Trevor Releford hit a lay-up with 25.1 seconds left, Tinsley stepped just inside the 3-point circle on the right side, leaned in, buried a 17-footer, and drew a questionable fifth foul of the game on Releford.
After Tinsley hit the foul shot, the Commodores forced a turnover on UA's JaMychal Green as he dribbled out of bounds along the baseline, and Jenkins hit a pair of game-icing free throws.
Jenkins (20 points) led VU in scoring, with Jeffery Taylor (19), Tinsley (15) and Festus Ezeli (11) also scoring double digits.
Green (23), Tony Mitchell (22) and Releford (11) added double-figures for 'Bama, which lost for just the second time in nine league games.
